A production by a multidisciplinary Wong Jing that takes us, with its style and its narrative, to Hong Kong in the 90s. A gangster called Wallace and his gang are plotting a revenge against Robert, another gangster’s son, that killed a friend’s son.
At the Asian Summer film festival, we love, a lot, films such as Colour of the game, a trip back to the authentic Hong Kong gangster films with gloomy characters, touched by nostalgia and comradery, and with an elegant staging, close to Johnnie To’s cinematography, and outbreaks of violence, typical from this genre.
