The Asian Summer Film Festival maintains its commitment with the young cinematographic creation

The event adds new players to the work that is carried out regularly with local associations and local companies

For its 15th anniversary, the festival will pay homage to Stephen Chow

The Asian Summer Film Festival (17-22 / July 2018) will revolve around a main theme: sport in Asian action films. To celebrate its 15th anniversary, it will pay homage to Stephen Show, who has directed many major productions in Hong Kong and China and the first ever film shown at the festival in 2004.

The Posterist received a Special Mention award. The Audience Award was for the Korean action film Fabricated City and the Critics Choice Award was for Duckweed

The Asian Summer Film Festival paid homage to the actress Kara Wai (Kara Hui) with a double screening session and with the Lucky Cat Award at the book launch of KUNG FU GIRLS!

The next edition of the Festival will be honoured with the presence of artists from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan.
