PLOT

Alienoid is an epic South Korean film that is reminiscent of an outrageous blockbuster with elements of science fiction, time travel, martial arts, and robots. The plot takes place in two distinct eras and involves aliens being trapped in human bodies, sorcerers and magicians, and a hunt for a mystical blade.

It's a truly wild ride, jumping back and forth between centuries and genres, creating a divisive yet thoroughly enjoyable experience. Fast-paced and inventive, the film never takes itself too seriously.

And there is more to come: as overstuffed as it is, Alienoid is only the first installment of a two-movie epic.
