PLOT

In the near future, Taiwan has become an occupied province of an oppressive empire. After being accused by the new Regime of hiding the location of her rebel family, Yu escapes from prison.

Butterflies is the voice of the new generations of Taiwan, who barely know about oppression from the stories of their grandparents and the news from Hong Kong and Xinjiang, but who start thinking about their own future with concern.
