PLOT

An expedition reaches a remote island in the Pacific Ocean where all its inhabitants worship their God Gappa. An unexpected earthquake frees the monster from its underground prison. This is the only Kaijû eiga by Nikkatsu production company, which usually is more interested in erotic cinema than in post-atomic monsters.

太平洋のある島を探検していると、そこの住人がガッパと呼ばれるおかしな神を崇拝しているのに気づく。地震によって地下に閉じこもっていた怪獣が姿を現す。日活によって制作された唯一の怪獣映画。
