PLOT

Zhang Yao, whose family was destroyed by drug dealers, secretly teams up with Anti-drug team leader An Du. The two join forces to ruthlessly eliminate the evil and vow to wipe out Mukun and Anpei, the top two figures of the criminal group.

The actor-director Marc Ma explores the familiar theme of vengeance through a labyrinthine narrative structure. Go for Broke emerges as another crime action movie that delivers plenty of thrills and pays homage to the heroic bloodshed that made us vibrate back in the 90s with its extreme characters and hyperbolic action.
