PLOT

A Japanese actor known for portraying female characters revisits his past during an interview. A regular presence at our festival, Guxens reflects on identity in his new film, with a focus on breaking gender boundaries and the need for empowerment in order to be truly free. It’s a story that weaves together Japanese ghosts, kabuki theatre, and a playful nod to a well-known anime.
