PLOT

This film is an adaptation of the international bestseller Miracles of the Namiya General Store by Keigo Higashino. Three orphaned teenagers hide in a small store, where they find a mysterious letter written 30 years ago that will be the start of a moving adventure.

Dreamy, nostalgic, touching… Any of these adjectives would work. Namiya’s Chinese version is a trip to a recent past full of magic realism and poetry. Jackie Chan, as a store owner, stars in one of his best performances.
