Days of ‘FesNits’

The Asian Summer Film Festival, faithful to its restless spirit and convinced to be active throughout the year collaborating with different initiatives, has been present these days at the FEFF in Italy, at the Sakura Matsuri Fair in Sabadell and, this Saturday, May 7, will participate in the 18th Entities Showcase in Vic.

Udine - Focus Asia

The Far East Film Festival of Udine (Italy) is the largest and most prestigious European festival specialized in Asian cinema. Within its program we find the FOCUS ASIA, an event dedicated to establish artistic and commercial relations between Asia and Europe, facilitating the co-production between several agents of the two continents. The Asian Summer Film Festival has been invited as a member of the Catalan delegation led by the Catalunya Film Commission, with the participation of six producers and one festival, the Asian Summer Film Festival.

Sakura Matsuri in Sabadell

Sabadell has celebrated with great organizational and public success the first edition of the Sakura Matsuri Fair, from April 29 to May 1. A fair dedicated to Japan, with more than 40 stands and up to 100 complementary activities. Culture, technology, gastronomy, martial arts, education, exhibitions...

The Asian Summer Film Fest has participated programming the cinema of the fair, with the preview of two unreleased works, THE DEER KING (to be distributed in our house by Selecta Vision) and WOOD JOOB!, a comedy awarded in one of the previous editions of our event. Inside the fairgrounds the #LoopOtaku was screened, hours of varied fun with trailers, video clips, commercials... Japan all over the place!

Entities Showcase of Vic

18 years of the Entities Showcase and 18 years in which the Associació Nits de cinema oriental de Vic has participated. You can find us at a stand, where we will explain everything you wanted to know and did not dare to ask about the event.

The Entities Showcase (and Cooperation Fair) is the ideal event to meet the entities of the city and promote collaborations. It will be held on the Rambla del Passeig i del Carme, on Saturday, May 7, from 5 to 8.30 pm.
